there you want to press enter and insideof the command prompt you want to put an ip config / all and press enter there's three things you want to getfrom here is important you want to look for your ipv4 addressyou want to take that number down and you want to get your subnet mask whichis usually always the same for everyone is 255 255 255 that zero and you alsowant to get your default gateway i say three things are you also mightwant to take down your dns servers which in this case is the same as my defaultgateway ok once you have this information youcan go ahead and close out the window
what i do is i go down to the networkcomputer down here in the lower right i right click it i go to open network and sharing centerand then from here i go to change adapter settings once you're inside thismenu let's try to make it a little bigger foryou you're gonna get your ethernet connection right here are right click goto properties inside the properties you want to look for your ipv4 which is here you want to highlight it and you want togo to properties now this is where you input some of the information did youtook down
you want to go to use the following ipaddress and this is where you put your static an ok so what you want to do youknow if i can actually type what you want to do and i messed up again you want to leave the first threenumbers or the first three boxes here the same for your ipv4 you took down andfor your last number you want to make sure you stand your ip range but youwant to change this to something you can remember easily so for this tutorial i'm going to put135 and once you do that you can press tab and most of the time when you dothis
255 255 255 will automatically populateinside of here if not just put that in there put yoursubnet your default gateway you took that number down why don't you press in five you put thatnumber in there too and then you want to put in your dns yeah ok so once you have all the informationin there you go you have a static ip address we're going to go ahead and move intostep 2
okay for this step if you haven'talready we're going to go ahead and download obs to do you want to go to obsproject com you want to click on windows because we're doing the windows tutorialhere and just go ahead and install it once you have it installed you're goingto have a window that looks like this this is obvious studio what i did youdon't have to do this as i said a profile name to rtmp so idon't have to keep changing the settings when switching between you know thecouncil's and other pc set ups from here you want to go to file you want to go tosettings you want to go to stream and in stream type you want to choose customstreaming server for the url
this is the format this format has to becorrect you want to put rtmp : 4 / for / a static ip address that we made earlierin the tutorial you want to put that here you want to close it with another 4/ and the work life at the end of it for the stream key for tutorial purposes name this test because we're testingthis out just want to get you started out put a lot of people use theinvective yr da nv e nc encoder i use a quick sync for me it works better but you can play around with thesesettings you can copy this right here this is what works for me just copy itdown and click apply when you're done

ok guys on the streaming pc just want toset it the way you would set you know if you are just streaming on one pc so youwant to go to settings you want to go to stream you want to go to stream andservices for me i'm using twitch so you got a twitch pick your server and then get yourtwitch stream key and you put it in here and then once you have all of theinformation you click apply you know you you put you set your outputan audio-video the way you want it you click apply which i won't be doing hereand then we go on into the rtmp settings ok guys not an intern x is set up thisis the final step on your encoding pc
you want to make sure that in obs to doyou want to go to scenes name or whatever you want but i named rtmpbecause that's what i'm going to be using and you want to go to sources andyou want to add a media source you can name it whatever you want to obviouslybut media source inside the media source window you want to uncheck local fileand just like on the gaming pc and the input you want to definitely keep thesame format here and you want to type in the static ip address that we createdearlier something electronic him too many ones ok so then we're going to close thatwhat a 4 / and then live again but this
