Food Network Name This Dish, travelling in gujarat than i recommend thiskind of dishes because it will save your lots of money. let me tell you one good thing aboutthe kathiyavadi food or guajarati food is that it prepares fresh everyday and if itis stale food then you can easily recognize it by its taste and look because we have thehabit of taking fresh food, so we can recognize


every dish easily weather it is fresh or stale.now let me have all this. so friends these are the all dishes whichi was talking about. all of them are authentic guajarati and available in all over gujarat,i come here specially only for this, it is known as millet flour blade, we call it rotla,it is very good and available in all gujarat. you can rarely find it out of gujarat butin gujarat it is available everywhere where guajarati food is serving. this one is knownas sev tomato curry or sev tameta nu sak. this is known as lasaniya bateka, it is garlicpotato, boiled potato has a stuffing of garlic and red chili powder, it is spicy but verygood, this one is known as stuff at eggplants, we called this bharela ringna. this is saladand this is dal bhat, this is a desert known


as laddu, we call it churma na ladu, it isvery good and it's a purely guajarati one, i personally like this very much, it is notin thali but you can order separately everything, i think almost are very cheap, all of thisare under 2 dollars, so it is very good about this, if you are travelling in gujarat thenyou are going to save lots of money. today i am at the siddhnath parotha house on thejamnagar rajkot highway, towards the jamnagar it is just 15km away from the jamnagar city,if you are travelling in jamnagar or saurashtra then it is very good to have the gujaratifood. so friends now i am going to start with rotla,it is a millet flour bread, it is very thick and it is a comfort food for gujarati peoples,we need it almost every day, it is very thick


compared to chapatti or paratha but it isvery good and specially with the gujarati curries it is really very good, absolutelydelicious and i recommend you to try this because it is very unique and totally differentbread from the any other bread in the world. i am going to try this rotla with this lasaniyabateka, it is a little spicy but it is also very good, it gives very unique and good flavorof garlic, i thought this is spicy but it is not spicy at all, it is very good and balancedtaste, i personally like this because you know if you want to eat something spicy thennothing can be better than this, now i am going to try the stuff eggplants or stuffbrindles, in gujarati it is known as bharela ringda, it is very famous curry, it is almostavailable in gujarati restaurant’s menu,


see it has lots of stuffing inside it, eggplantsare absolutely very soft and melting in mouth, it has very good taste of stuffing, with thisgravy it is really very good, now i am going to try sev tomato curry, it is almost availablein every gujarati restaurant menu, it is very famous and you can find it outside gujaratalso, it is very good and very good taste of tomato, if you really like tomatoes thanit will be a very good dish for you, we gujarati peoples always prefer the buttermilk or curdwith it in lunch, here i have both of them, with the gujarati curries it is perfectlyset and chilled, very creamy and naturally yogurt, it is very good in flavor, you canalso have the curd with the curries so it will enhance the overall taste of curry, itgujarat they serve a very simple salad everywhere,


onion and tomatoes it is very famous and everybodylikes onion and tomatoes with any indian food dishes. now i have fulka roti, it is verygood and it is a special kind of bread, it is available with most of the gujarati thali,it is very fluffy and soft, in just two bites you can have 1 roti, other than roti if youfind rotla than i suggest you rotla instead of roti because it will give you a reallygood taste as compared with roti with this all gujarati curries, as you know i have toldyou in earlier episode that this dish is known as dal bhat or dal and rice, it is must forevery gujarati, we have always in our lunch. this dal is very simple but good in tasteand you know it is a very good source of protein, this is a very good option for those who likesto find something healthy in their lunch or


in their meal. so friends now i am cominginto the dessert, it is known as churma na ladu, it is a good one and i personally likeit, in most of the gujarati functions we have this kind of desserts only this ladva or laduis very famous and available at many places in gujarat, if you are going to sweet or dessertshop in anywhere in gujarat then you will always find this ladu, remember if you reallywant to eat gujarati food it is known as churma na ladu, it is very good and it has sandytexture, you can have this with meal or after the meal, usually we gujarati people likethis sweet in our lunch and dinner only. another thing is that they serve fresh butter withthis, we gujarati people likes to apply this butter on rotla, see this way, we gujaratipeople always like to have ghee or butter


with the rotla but usually we have butterwith it. butter is absolutely fresh and if you don’t like butter than you can orderplane rotla, remember one thing that if you don't like ghee or butter than always tellin advance to don’t apply ghee on chapatti or rotla. this buttermilk is very creamy andvery thick, as we have thickness in lassi but it don't have the sweetness, it is a planecurd we called it chhas or in english you can call it buttermilk, it is good and alwayswith gujarati thali it comes. so friends finally i got the bill, it is justmore than the 2 dollars it's very cheap and see the quantity it is very big and just twoand a half dollars, it is a very good meal, two people can be easily make their baileyfull. it is very good and it will save your
